Congress Acts to Save Jobs

Congress has acted to provide essential aid to state and local governments that is estimated to save or create nearly a million jobs for educators, public employees, police officers, firefighters and others.

The President signed the bill into law immediately.  Several estimates predict the bill will save 160,000 education jobs alone.
